Chaitra Navratri is considered especially fruitful for sadhana. Devotees will worship Goddess Durga for nine days and keep a fast. Jyotishcharya Pandit Vishnu Prasad Bhatt told that in Chaitra Navratri, an unbroken flame will be lit in Durga temples. Worship material for Chaitra Navratri Ghatasthapana
A clay pot with a wide mouth, Kalash, Saptadhanya (7 types of grains), soil of the holy place, water (if possible Gangajal), Kalavadhamuli, mango or Ashoka leaves (Pallava), peeled, coconut, betel nut, intact (raw whole rice), flowers and wreaths, red cloth, sweets, vermilion, durva etc.

Navratri Ghatasthapana Puja Method
First of all, keep the soil in a wide-mouthed vessel and sow Saptadhanya in it. Now fill water in the Kalash on top of it and tie Kalava in its upper part (neck). Place mango or Ashoka leaves on top of the Kalash. Wrap Kalava in coconut. After that, wrap the coconut in a red cloth and place it on the top of the vase and between the leaves. After completion of Ghatasthapana, Maa Durga is invoked.
