Cultural programs were celebrated in Tungnath Festival

In Panchkedar, the one-day Tungnath Festival organized on the arrival of Doli, the winter seat of Lord Tungnath, the world famous Lord Tungnath’s movable deity festival, Makkumath, was full of cultural programs in which hundreds of villagers enjoyed cultural programs. Inaugurating the Tungnath Mahotsav organized at Makkumath, the winter seat of Lord Tungnath, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the land situated in the lap of Panch Kedar is known with great reverence in the world. That’s why every year hundreds of pilgrims feel blessed by visiting the holy shrines here. While praising the glory of Lord Tungnath’s Dham and winter seat, he said that by making a debut in this soil, man gets immense peace.
The Chief Minister said that the whole country is on the path of progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and on November 5, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of schemes worth 400 crores at Kedarnath Dham. He said that due to the untiring efforts of the Prime Minister, the work of railway line up to Karnprayag would be completed by 2024 and the construction work of Char Dham project is going on on a war footing. He said that dozens of public welfare schemes are being run by the State Government. The benefit of which is being given to every villager. He said that the state government has increased the honorarium of Upanal workers and Asha workers and action would be taken soon in the honorarium of Anganwadi workers.
Chief Minister Shri Dhami announced to make Tungnath Mahotsav a district level festival and to open a health center in Makku village. Agriculture Minister Subodh Uniyal said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, many schemes are being implemented by the State Government and a historic development has taken place during the tenure of the State BJP Government for four and a half years. Former MLA Asha Nautiyal said that the state is on the path of progress under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. On this occasion, District President BJP Dinesh Uniyal, District Panchayat President Amardei Shah, Kedarnath MLA Manoj Rawat, Kshetra Panchayat chief Shweta Pandey, District Panchayat member Reena Bisht along with public representatives and villagers were present.
