Despite being a politician, he established himself as a journalist. He is feeling proud to be a part of the birth anniversary celebrations of such a journalist and for this NUJI wishes all the journalists of Uttarakhand. On this occasion, Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Maharaj also raised questions on the partition of India-Pakistan. He said that there is no justification for partition because even after partition, the people of the Muslim community have been living as before, while the demand for partition was made by the Muslim community itself. In such a situation, all the people of the Muslim community should have gone to Pakistan. But if this did not happen, the partition should be cancelled.
In the program, State President of Uttarakhand Congress Committee Karan Mahara said that journalism has an important place in a democracy. The direction of the society is determined by the writings of journalists. That is why journalists should focus on positive journalism. Karan Mahara said that 22 years have passed since the creation of Uttarakhand, but till now the dream of building the state remains unfulfilled. He said that the party ruling in the name of Ram has forgotten Ram himself. The plight of Ganga is happening. Even after spending crores of rupees, Ganga is still polluted. In the absence of political will power, politics is being done only in the name of Ram. But they have nothing to do with Ram Rajya. Delhi’s senior journalist Anant Mittal, who was present as the keynote speaker, said that nowadays media is being accused of being sold, people should boycott such media. He said that one should stop watching, reading and listening to paid media. If this happens, the media shop will be closed automatically. Reforming deteriorating institutions is the biggest responsibility of the public system. As will be the behavior of the society, so will be the journalist. He also called for a complete ban on plastic from the pilgrimage city.
