Gorakhpur Cm Yogi Adityanath Performs Ritual Of Kalash Sthapna At Gorakhnath Temple On First Day Of Navratri Ann


UP News: Gorakshapeethadhishwar and CM Yogi Adityanath installed Kalash amidst Vedic chants in Gorakhnath temple and worshiped Maa Shailputri according to the rituals on the first day of Navratra. . The ritual of setting up the Kalash lasted for two hours. Before the installation of the Kalash, a traditional grand Kalash procession was taken out in the Gorakhnath temple premises. At around 5.30 pm, the head priest of the temple, Yogi Kamal Nath, was flagged off by Gorakshpeethadhishwar with his own hands traditionally with a trident of Shivavatari Guru Gorakshanath.

Under the leadership of Yogi Kamal Nath, the procession of saints and saints reached Bhima Sarovar, a mythological belief, amidst the chants of Mother Durga. Where after filling the urn and circumambulating the lake, the procession returned to the Shaktipeeth. CM Yogi installed a Kalash in the sanctum sanctorum of Shaktipeeth by invoking Varun deity amidst Vedic chants. Gorakshpeethadhishwar first worshiped Gauri-Ganesh by consecrating the Trishul, the weapon of Mother Durga, Lord Shiva and Guru Gorakhnath. Along with this, the Parayan recitation of Shrimad Devi Bhagwat and the recitation of Shridurgasaptshati were also started in the sanctum sanctorum of the Durga temple (Shaktipeeth).

CM Yogi will fast for nine days

CM Yogi Adityanath will be on a fast for nine days during Navratri festival. This process of fasting has been going on for more than two and a half decades since his arrival in Gorakshpeeth. Before becoming CM Yogi Adityanath The entire Navratri used to worship by staying on the first floor of the Gorakhnath Math. After assuming the responsibility of the post of CM, he is unable to stay in Gorakhpur but the rest of the worship-worship continues.
