Gomukh Dairy made in collaboration with NDRI was inaugurated

Dehradun/Yamkeshwar. The Pran Pratishtha of the Iron Siddha Banavasi Hanuman Temple and the Gomukh Dairy were dedicated at Garhkhal in Talla Banas of Yamkeshwar block of Pauri district. This dairy has been developed in collaboration with the National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), Karnal. Along with this, a Kisan Mela was organized in Gadkhal from October 21 to 23. The Kisan Mela, being run in collaboration with NDRI, was inaugurated on October 21 by Uttarakhand Agriculture Minister Subodh Singh Uniyal. In this Kisan Mela, farmers were given information about modern methods of farming, advanced information related to livestock and products made from milk. During this, seeds and goats were given to the farmers of many gram sabhas of Yamkeshwar. Apart from this, materials useful for agriculture were distributed.
Industrial Minister Ganesh Joshi said that the construction of such a modern cowshed in the mountain will prove to be of great help to the farmers of the area. He said that if the farmers of Devbhoomi use the technology that NDRI is using for modern farming, then we will touch new dimensions in the agriculture sector. He said about Gomukh Gaushala that the house where there is a cow brings prosperity. No work is possible here without a cow, so it is very important to have a cow in the house.
Swami Paramatmanand Saraswati said that all the gods reside in the cow. Serving the cow brings all kinds of prosperity. So keep on serving the cow. He called for rearing indigenous breed cows and use of cow dung in farming. He said that force is needed to protect religion and protect culture and we get this strength from Hanuman ji. Our religion and culture is the lifeblood of India.
Dr. Manmohan Singh Chouhan, Director, NDRI said that it is our endeavor to make more and more farmers aware of the modern techniques of agriculture in rural areas. In this episode, NDIR is associated with Gomukh Dairy set up in Talla Banas and here modern techniques are being used for milking, their care and milk products made from cows. The scientists of the institute are coming here regularly. In the coming days, NDRI will conduct various activities. Gomukh Dairy Welfare Society has been established by Hill-Mail Foundation. Foundation director Chetna Negi said that its aim is to inspire people for traditional and modern farming and animal husbandry. Gomukh Dairy is envisaged as a major center providing all modern training related to livestock to farmers in this region.
