Shah Rukh Khan And Ajay Devgn’s Mutual Appreciation Tweets On The “Bond” They Share

Actors Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn have spent today exchanging compliments. In an ‘Ask SRK’ session on Twitter, the superstar was asked to comment on what Ajay said about the sky-high advance bookings for SRK’s film Pathaan, opening tomorrow. He did and received a similarly warm response from Ajay Devgn. Here’s how it went down. A fan appended a clip of Ajay saying he was “dil se khush (happy from the bottom of his heart) because of the “fantastic” advance booking numbers reported for Pathaan. In his tweet, the fan asked: “Sir Ajay Devgn is very happy with the advance booking of Pathaan. Any words about him?”

Nothing if not gracious, Shah Rukh Khan had several words to say. “Ajay has been a pillar of support and love to me and my family for years. He is a wonderful actor and beautiful human being. Strong and silent.”

Soon after, Ajay Devgn replied to Shah Rukh Khan, saying this: “Dear SRK, thank you for your love and presence. I value the bond we share as much as you do. Pathaan collections look poised to go through the roof. I am happy that as an industry things are looking up for us.”

Ajay Devgn said what he did about Pathaan at the launch of the second teaser of his film Bholaa today. Translated from Hindi, he said, “I want every film to be super duper hit. Now Pathaan is releasing and whatever reports we are reading about the advance booking it seems fantastic and I am very happy about it from the bottom of my heart.”

Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand and co-starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, releases tomorrow.
